Lateral force happens when you have initiated a skating movement. You need a massive push off through the ice to transfer the energy from one leg to the other. Skating is a lateral movement. You are bouncing side to side with every stride, and each stride requires a lateral push from the hips, and through the toe, to propel you forward into the next stride.


Lateral force then combines with explosive and rotational power to transfer that force from the ice, through your legs, into your trunk and through your core to create momentum to have a strong, powerful shot that will leave the goalies wishing they had the ability to stop it!


Likewise, maximal strength, explosive power, and lean mass, are keys to producing high levels of force production and explosive movement while staying balanced throughout your game! The more size you have, the harder you will be to get knocked off the puck, get knocked down, or get out muscled! The more muscle you have, the better the force production will be, so you can become the strongest, fastest, version of yourself to help make your game more efficient, constant, and effective!

You give us 3 months of hard work and dedication, and we will give you the world! The WheelSpeedTM Off Season Training Program comes with absolutely everything you need to become successful and set yourself up for the best season you have ever had! This isn’t some B.S. Cookie cutter program that leaves you wanting more when it’s all over! This is the exact methodology that we use with our Pro and D1 players that gets them bigger, stronger, and most importantly, insanely faster! 

Here is everything that you get:

The WheelSpeedTM Off-Season Program has 5 Training Sessions a  week! 3 Weight Room days and 2 Field days. 

Weight room sessions are designed to help you work on all 5 key aspects needed to excel on the ice! We work on adding muscle, decreasing body fat, and improving overall strength, power, speed, and explosiveness. Never again will you be out muscled, out skated, or outperformed in a game or practice! Finally, dominate the sport you love and see how far you can truly go after dedicating your summer to the game! Training Sessions last anywhere between 60 and 75 minutes.

Field Days are designed to get you into hockey shape! We all know there is a difference between being in shape and being in Hockey Shape! Hockey Shape is a whole new world! Field workouts are built to increase speed, explosiveness, change of direction,  and hockey specific agility! No More being tired late in the 3rd when the game matters the most! Take complete control of your training and make sure that you are ready when your coach calls your number! Training Sessions last anywhere between 45 and 60 minutes.

We also include recovery and Prehab days that focus on injury prevention, range of motion improvements, flexibility and Recovery! These are added after your field sessions that will take about 15 minutes to perform and then a half hour recovery session on Saturdays! Sessions last anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes.
